DJB Machinery is proud to be the sole UK importer/distributor of Balfor’s product range.
Balfor started in Italy in 1979 as Ballario & Forestallo, when two brothers who shared a passion for making tools made their first log splitter. Orders started coming in from local farmers, and by 1982, with more of a range, they exhibited at their first show in Verona. The dealers were very impressed, and the orders started to come in fast.
They soon started to expand abroad, and by 1996, Balfor had extended its range and built its first firewood processor. In 1999 they commissioned the world’s largest log splitter, a monster 100-ton machine. They have the skills and are making some of the largest spitters available today. In 2008 their name was shortened to ‘Balfor’ to make their brand more international. Forty years later, Balfor still prioritizes customer satisfaction. It deals directly with customers to understand their needs and accepts requests for customisations and new models for both the industrial and domestic markets.
