Coup’eco, based in Pons, France, was created in 1995. Originally specialising in designing and manufacturing disc blade hedge trimmers.
By 1999 they had moved into the production of tree trimmers and manufactured the first circular saw cutter, the Galax 6000. Over the years, they added to their range and started producing pruners with attachments for excavators, front loaders and telescopic handlers.
The first Walk-Behind hedge cutter was developed in 2013, the Celest 250. Coup’eco range further expanded in 2020 when the company became 25 years old, and the Cometh range was introduced, designed for skid-steer loaders. The benefits of the cutting systems used by their products mean a cleaner cut, giving three main advantages over traditional flail style cutting: leaving a far better finish, better regeneration and less stress to the vegetation.
